you like doing laps in the swimming pool, you might want to stock up on the energy drinks before diving in to this one. It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, had a 115ft deep end and holds 66 million gallons of water. Yesterday the Guinness Book of Records named the vast pool beside the sea in Chile as the biggest in the world But if you fancy splashing out on one of your own - and you have the space to accommodate it - then beware: This one took five years to build, cost nearly £1billion and the annual maintenance bill will be £2million. The man-made saltwater lagoon has been attracting huge crowds to the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, on Chile 's southern coast, since it opened last month. Its turquoise waters are so crystal clear that you can see the bottom even in the deep end. It dwarfs the world's second biggest pool, the Orthlieb - nicknamed the Big Splash - in Morocco , which is a mere 150 yards long and 100 yards wide. An Olympicsize pool me...

Carphonewarehouse (CPW) has Sony Ericsson’s Idou on their coming soon page for 2009 . Whatever the Idou (I do? I do you? ee dow wu?) will actually be named, it puts it back into contention for possible phone purchases for 2009 (previously outwritten as it was expected for 2010). Like all of CPW’s coming soon line up, all their dates are subject to change; and with a rather vague 2009 instead of specific months, there’ll be a rather swift slap on ones face if one had waited so long only for it to turn up next year. With that said, June is looming. June means prepare for a sudden £700 deficit in your bank balace as June means N97! With a price so steep ( at least as quoted early March on the possible price of the N97 ), it’s good to know alternatives and the “Idou” is definitely one of the three I’m considering (along with N97 and Omnia HD). With most of the features beloved in the N97 demonstrated too in the Idou (Screen size, screen resolution, OS maybe) I’ve got to start nit-pick...

Edison Chen is one of Asia's biggest names in showbiz. He is also one of its most controversial. The Hong Kong-Canadian pop star fell from grace spectacularly last year after photos he took while having sex with a string of female celebrities found their way onto the Internet. Sze Ho-Chun, a Hong Kong computer technician, has been charged with posting the explicit photos online. The pictures showed Chen in compromising positions with various celebrities, including Canto-pop star Gillian Chung, actress Cecilia Cheung and former actress Bobo Chan. The saucy content became a web sensation, forcing Chen, 28, into early retirement and sending him fleeing to his childhood home, Canada. After he repeatedly refusing to return to Hong Kong, the territory’s Department of Justice flew a legal team, including its chief magistrate, to Vancouver. There on Tuesday Chen gave evidence. He told the unusual hearing the photos were his and he had stored them on a personal laptop that had gon...
